Methodology
How FitCheckr decides whether a part fits.
Fit status is based on source quality, source agreement, model specificity, and known buying risks.
Confirmed fits require model-specific evidence from official or high-quality public sources. Likely fits are used when aliases and compatible families strongly match but the exact device model has less direct evidence.
Confidence scores consider source count, source authority, part-number consistency, recency, and whether common complaints point to fit or sealing issues.
FitCheckr is a compatibility research tool, not a lab-testing service. Always check your device label and existing part number before buying.
